Spoke with a dealer yesterday - white WILL be one of the custom colors for Feb and it won't be the So-Cal. Two new Artist's are in negotiations for CS models - one would be white and one would be green.
You sir, can go you fuck yourself and don't let the door hit you in the vagina on the way out. You're such a pretencious, phony, boring, transparent, self righteous worthless fuck..You are amusing as a genital wart! --horns666 - 12/08/08
Hey, if those are fake tits..is fake titty fuggin' cheatin'? I say no! --horns666 - 12/29/08 I think your dad jacked off in a flower pot and you were born a blooming idiot. --LouSiffer - 06/25/09

Sorry, I have to jump in. Not true. Interesting speculation. I WILL say that NO color is safe!!!
To Mike and other Charvel guys reading this: my suggestion would be to paint these Charvels using Charvel colors. Typical, old school Charvel colors. Some of these colors so far have looked very similar to current Jackson import colors and while they have been cool guitars, demand would be through the roof if the colors were as reminiscent of old school Charvels as everything else about the guitars is.

I agree. While I like candy colors in general, they don't feel "Charvel" to me. I was expecting more sporty colors - Ferrari red, banana yellow, etc - colors that jump. Now, that said, I don't need to see pinks, flourescents and powder type colors.
I tend to disagree with the "use classic Charvel colors" sentiment. If the production series is only intended to satisfy the cravings of those of us looking to recapture the classic Charvel, then yeah - go ahead and use the classic Charvel colors. But if the intent of Charvel with the production series is to find a new set of customers I think the more modern colors like they have been using make more sense.

Thanks for playing!

Guess we'll see what comes out at NAMM.
White won't be the So-Cal because it would be too close to one of the potential CS guitars (due to the pickguard).

If he says that no color is safe then no color is Safe.
I wouldn't mind seeing some natural or trans colors, as long as it's quilted.. never really likes the flame tops much. Pearl colors would be nice too.... Pearl white...... yeah!!!

You guys are forgetting that changes like pickup quantities and figured tops and bridge changes affect the price. That means there's little to no chance of them happening.
And I really hope they don't do pointyheads. The pointyhead is a Jackson thing and should remain a Jackson thing, there's no need to walk down the same road Charvel did in the 80s and end up dead again.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
The most human thing we can do is comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.

I don't really agree with that. I remember Charvel being just as recognized for pointies as Jackson was.
