I think i've watched you in Northampton last year sometime. Did you guys play at the GuitarFest just before Guthrie Govan??
Correct Yup, that was us, I only caught a bit of Guthrie as we got a bit drunk after our set We had an awesome time and we will definitly be playing at the GuitarFest again in 2009,
Also corrrect about the Mesa Stiletto, although I ended up using a small Marshall cab ( instead of my Mesa cab ) it still cut through fine. I highly recommend the Stilleto... Suits the EVH perfectly as its pretty much a hot rod Marshall sound, rarther than the typical Mesa low end rectifier sound.
Ed the other guitarist/singer uses Fender Hot rod Strats (A Jap fender with a Floyd.. and a Highway strat).
We are going in the studio in Feb 2009 to do our follow up album, will be using the EVH for sure
Here`s a few pics from that very gig,

Cheers man, Will give you a shout when the 2009 AllOutGuitarFest gig is confirmed. and we will post a teaser track on our website as soon as we wrap in the studio.
I agree. I have played both a number of times, EVH felt more bat-like to me.
Like I said, the contours are very similar. A quick measurement check with a set of calipers proves that (I own both guitars). The neck width difference may account for why they feel so different to you.
If I had to characterize one of the necks as "bat-like", it would be the PC-1 more so than the EVH.
