  • New to Charvel : SD W DeMArtini

    Hi,

It's my first Charvel ! Something i've dreamed about when i was young in the 80's

So i've been seduced by this San Dimas Warren DEMartini Crossed Swords. It's even more beautiful for real than what i've seen on the picture before. I'm in love... The sound ? Yes it rocks but it deserves a good Class A amps i'm totally missing :shame !

Dude...I'm jealous. If you come back on here with a Lynch ESP, I might have to off myself.
8 strings? Because 6 is too easy?

      Very nice

VERY nice guitar. That one and "Frenchy" are my favorites of the line.

You could have scored all 3 from my Brother in Law, who got bored with
them! (too many to choose from... (hes a PRS man now)
Imagine all 3 hanging in your crib!

I love all the guitars from the 80's and I have to say that Warren D had some of the best designs of the era.

That is sweet! I don't know which I like better, the swords or the bomber, but I would take either one.

What are the necks like on those charvels? Do they compare to a DK1 in thickness and feel?

The DK1 neck seems a little bit thiner to me and a bit faster... but i am not an expert

forgive me for asking. but why do these things cost as much as a les paul?
i love the look of them but why that high of a price? really
stop at full speed at 100 miles per hour. the colgate invisible shield finally got em.
