They're the original "trembuckers" for trem-spaced guitars (though, they work fine in fixed bridges, too). Seymour created them in the '80s to help Floyded guitars sound a littler beefier and had the parallel poles so there wouldn't be as much drop-off in sound when bending strings like on guitars with standard pole pieces.
Just never got around to ordering one, myself. Ebay saved me the trouble. One of the best classic Charvel graphics.
And the former owner sure nailed the specs, as far as I'm considered. With the possible exception of the pickups, it's almost exactly as I would've ordered for myself. Props to him - just a killer guitar.
