I just got my green SoCal, and am now thinking about changing it up. I want to swap out the body for a super lightweight Swamp Ash one finished in surf green or daphne blue -- maybe from Musikraft. Also, I'm going to go with a HSS config pickguard in mint or pearloid, and chrome hardware. In any case, what do you think a green SoCal body is worth on resale? What about the Floyd and hardware? The loaded pickguard?

Not sure, but a neck brought 482 bones on ebay about a month ago.
Truthfully, I doubt you'll get 300 bones for the whole banana. You sir, can go you fuck yourself and don't let the door hit you in the vagina on the way out.
You're such a pretencious, phony, boring, transparent, self righteous worthless fuck..You are amusing as a genital wart!

I say try your luck on Ebay with the loaded body (trem, pickups, etc). I sold the neck from mine for $482. Wish I had it back, AND the money but oh well.
Like Joel, I doubt you'll get more than $300 for it though, but then I didn't think I'd get $250 for the neck.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

I like the neck on these production series, much more than my MZ naturals, which seem to have a flat back to them. The SoCal is very cool, but I'm not sold on the green in person, nor the weight. I think I'll try the new pickguard/pups and new chrome OFR and hardware first, then see how it sounds/feels. The body would be the last thing to change. I might even have it refinnished. In the end, even with all the changes and assuming $300 from selling parts, I'd still be under $1000 for this guitar, which seems reasonable.
