Just swapped out the PUs for a set of cream Dimarzios. A Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues 2 in the neck, and a Mo'Joe in the bridge position. (Get it? Charvel "mojo"? ...Sorry, I couldn't resist. )

Anyway, still not sold on the direct-mount layout, but it's starting to grow on me. We'll see.

IMHO, the cream 'zos go very well with the vintage Charvie vibe on this one. What 'ya think?

Looks great! Lay on the bar, get some smooth feedback workin', sustain a couple of notes long and hard, kick it in the ass and don't stop- oh yeah, you know what I mean. I'm pretty sure that Mojo pickup has alnico fives in it- how sweet it is.

much better, now add the creme ring because it looks a bit naked without it.

i love me some eldred flames, mine always gets compliments and i don't think it's a graphic that will ever really go out of style.
