  • Chasing an old Charvel

I used to have a zebra striped San Dimas w/ a single humbucker and I believe Kahler trem??? This was many years ago and I am trying to locate it again. It came w/ an unfinished maple neck. I found a vague reference to a zebra striped model known as the Charvel 2445, anyone have a picture of it?

Any info greatly appreciated. I had this guitar around '85 or '86 and bought it used in mint condition

    Thanks!

Tracy(gtrbuyer) has 2445. Doesn't look like your old one.
there are pictures of it on www.usacharvels.com
He keeps a data base of the ones he comes across too so he might be able to tell you where yours is.

2445 is not a "model", but a serial number. Found it on Trace's website:

V-trem to Floyd conversion, so it does not appear to be your old one.

edit: Rich beat me to it.

Are you positive it had a Kahler? #3019 is a floyded 1 hum zebra with maple fretboard, assuming that's what you mean by unfinished.

Can you get a picture of it? I am pretty sure it was a Kahler but it was over 20 years ago since I saw it. The back of the neck was unfinished also, yes, it was maple
