    I really like that. You really improved it from the original black pickguard and hardware, which I don't like with the candy green. Good job on that for sure.

        What SD single coils are those? Do they hum or buzz a lot?
        8 strings? Because 6 is too easy?

          I loaded this up with a full set from Seymour Duncan:
          - Alnico II Pro™ TBAPH-1 in bridge
          - Classic Stack Plus STK-S4 in neck and mid

          Gives me the vintage to heavy, to everything in between. I really like the setup so far. The Classic Stacks are chimey and have that grit to them that you'd expect from a Strat....more strat sounding than my Fender loaded with Vintage Noiseless pups!

          No buzz, no hum at all. I have a push/pull coil split pot for the bridge --- that's the only position that generates any amount of noise when used alone. I fully shielded the cavities too.

          If you like the setup on your HRR (I've owned three of those), you'd like this setup --- quieter, and a bit less heat on the bridge.
