New Custom Arrives - Is it 1986 All Over Again? (Sort Of...)
Sorry, but no. I wouldn't know a Predator from Prey. :ROTF:
Haha ok, well if you ever cross paths with one, you will find it very familiar...right down to the 5-way switch coil tapping scheme. Spike? Where are you? He can back me up on this. Congrats again!

Oh wow. Dinky, H/S, strathead, OFR, beautiful top... that's pretty my idea of a perfect guitar right there! What does the mahogany body do for tone on a bolt-on Strat type guitar?
I know what the deal is with the plate. The guitar is suffering from identity crisis ..... with the 24 frets, and dinky body but with the Charvel logo on the headstock, it didn't know whether it was a Jackson, or a Charvel LOL.
Awesome looking guitar though Pat congrats.
I live on the edge of danger facing life and death every single day.....then I leave her at home and go disarm bombs.
I'm not sure why that guitar wouldn't have a Jackson neck w/ shark inlays? Everything about it screams Jackson - body shape, recessed Floyd, etc. Strange. If it was on eBay, I bet we would be calling it a fake or parts guitar!

Apologies for the cruddy pictures - not a great day for camera work. But it's late January in the northeast, so whatchya gonna do?
OK, here's where things get a little strange. Is it 1986 all over again? Are they moving the custom shop back to San Dimas, and ran out of Charvel neckplates? :ROTF:
Hanging out with a bro...
When was this supposed to have been built?? Not recently...
