Charvel, Jackson? any info appreciated

I purchased this guitar a couple of years ago while on Vacation in California and am considering selling it and was wondering if anyone on here can tell me any thing about it, the headstock reads Charvel Custom Shop, but the neck plate reads Jackson and the catalog that it is on the cover on is Jackson and it is the only one that is a Charvel any info?

Speculation - they didn't have Charvel plates anymore into the Ontario era, so even though they put a Charvel logo on the headstock, they used a Jackson plate?

You do know its all one company right? When they first moved to Ontario, they had Jackson logo'd strats with Charvel plates to use them up. I believe it wasn't until a couple years ago that they brought back the old style Charvel plates.

Grandturk is exactly right. They put out quite a few customs with Charvel logos & Jackson plates during the Ontario years.

I thank you guys for the info and I have emailed with hippietim and it was his before, I think I sold it locally so I really appreciate the effort
