Total guess on my part, but I'd say that if they're doing it nobody will say either way before NAMM. I hope they do go through with it, the thing looks totally killer.

I'm still holding out for a Soloist with a pickguard and Vintage single coils!

Ah ok. Fair enough.
McD - I never meant any of my comments aimed at the "Fender guys" to be derogatory or anything. No offence or anything.

Fender guys: Thank you for giving us Mike Shannon back. Also, thank you for arranging a Rhoads and Soloist case for me in Oz, something that was not possible before.

Joetam: The drinking age in Oz is 18 too!!..but I passed that a while ago now, sniff..sniff...

Mr White: Fosters? Seriously?...lol...used to drink that a long time ago but they don't even sell it here anymore I don't think, but overseas it does quite well.

Yeah we still get Fosters. Its actually pretty nice for lager
The whole "Look Aussy lager!!! But its made in the UK" thing happens with all sorts of products.
Like the pasta sauces
"Dolmio, the great taste of authentic Italian cooking.

Made in Ireland"

"Goodfellas American style pizzas

Made and frozen in Holland" (Not 100% sure on that one)

Sam Adams beer form Boston,MA. brewed right here in Pittsburgh,PA. by the some brewery that brews Iron City beer, I don`t care for either one, but the Fosters is very good as is Labbat`s. Jack.
