I don't remember seeing a thread about this so forgive me if it was already discussed. Anyhow, I found a video on YouTube on a Jackson Guitars competition they held at Sonisphere this year. Looked like a really cool competition. There more vids up there, here's the final round.

Yeah a lot of the riffs weren't great. I would have asked for a Death Angel. He did say any signature guitar model of choice, right? But I would of had to win the competition.____________________________________________

I enjoyed watching it. A lot of the riffs were built off of scale runs - very CoB, Nevermore sounding to me. I prefer (in my own playing) the old school power-chord heavy riffs.
I was thinking I would have joked around at that thing and started playing the riff to "I am the Law" because Nott Ian was there.-------------------------
