There is an article in one of the UK guitar magazines where they interview Scott Ian and in that there is a paragraph where he says that he is back at Jackson and for the 30th Anniversary (?) in 2010 there are going to a number of Scott Ian themed models across various price brackets.

I've got it at home, I'll try and remember to post later. I can't scan it though, no scanner

Twelve frets and four strings. He made a post on his facebook page that there will be an announcement shortly. He also mentioned in the last two weeks that the custom shop was putting the finishing touches on his new sig model. As for what that will do for Jackson I dont know or care. I have generally liked Scott's Jacksons so I am interested in what they will put out.

Nothing against Scott Ian himself, but I always thought his guitars were ugly and I didn't think he was the big talent in Anthrax.

I'd buy that if they had the Yankees logo on it, but they probably won't be able to licensing from MLB to do that.

I played a JJ2 in the natural mahogany finish and loved it and went home feeling wounded because i couldn't bring it home. Hopefully he'll bring that one back out so I can order one next year.

I may buy one of his sigs if its reasonably priced, has more than 12 frets and 6 strings. Id much prefer them to make Dans ninja turtle guitar but hes making clocks know so thats not going to happen ever. Itd be cool if scott somehow had the rights to it.
