  • New guy with question about a Jackson Stars Polka dot King V

Hello everyone. I was looking for info on this guitar I found on ebay. I found this forum in the process. I'm not a big internet guy so please bear with me. Can anyone please tell me a little something about this guitar? Quality, playability? What should I be willing to give for it? Thanks in advance.

    You the seller? :p

Jackson Stars are really nice guitars, I've owned 2 and still have one I bought from Newc. They are a lot of cool features for a small price, that's for sure.

    Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."

No, I'm not the seller, but I would like to be the buyer. I just don't know anything about this guitar so I came here.

      Thanks for the response.

        Welcome to the forum.

It's a limited edition Jackson Stars (i.e. made in Japan by the people who make the Japanese import Jacksons, but for the Japanese market only). Here's a link to its specs page:

        http://jacksonstars.fender.jp/catalo...tid=1254424563

Note that it's based on a TN-02, so it is second from top in the Stars range. Namely striped ebony rather than ebony 'board, moto inlays rather than MoP, alder wings rather than mahogany.

If you search for Jackson Stars here, you'll find a lot of threads with positive statements about their guitars, their higher end ones in particular.
