I'm already committed to stuff most of this Saturday and Sunday, same with the following weekend. The Watertower is an OK spot (wish they were still open for lunch), although they quit brewing their own. It a time and place are decided upon, I'll try my best to make it, schedule allowing. Just got a couple of busy weeks ahead of me.

I'm thinking a mid July to late August time frame for a Jam day/weekend.

This topic needs a bump! I'm going to be out of town for several days in September, but after that should be staying close to home. Is there still any interest in a get-together for the Minnesota JCFers? Before the snow flies?

I guess it sort of depends on how big of a thing we want it to be. I can't volunteer to host it as "home" is a 1BR apartment with barely enough room for my family of Jacksons. I hotel wouldn't be a bad idea if people want this to be an all-day event. Otherwise, if anyone has a good-sized basement or studio, we could always hang out and jam for a bit, then find a restaurant, or maybe hit a few guitar and/or pawn shops.

It sounds like it'd be helpful to get a head count of interested JCFers and use that to decide on a meeting spot, and of course a date too. I assume we'll need to bring some amps (Jackson of course) if there's going to be any jamming goin' on.

Hey hey. My place is a 2 bedroom apt, so there is not the greatest idea. I could bring amps, guitars whatever would be cool. Hopefully there would be a bunch of us. I gots a digital camera as well, so we could post the pictures from our "Frozen Nuts Fest #1".

Man, I totally missed this thread in June.
I'm moving next month but once settled in I'm game for a get togther, BBQ, jam whatever. I didn't remember JTR being in Brooklyn Park..I'm right off Brooklyn Blvd and Bass LK Rd for another month.
