you could get a warmoth neck or something similar with a 24 fret extension.
this way the neck pocket could stay the same.
but you'd have to get rid of the neck PU anyway once you decide for 24 frets, so without major modfication, I don't see 24 frets on your performer happen.

      tremstick give-away (performer series trem)

Think i'm just gonna keep my eye out for a nice looking 22. I still use the neck pickup so i wouldn't want to pull it out.

It's cool though, i'm sure something will turn up

If you can't find a 22-fret neck you like, you could always get a 24-fret neck and just saw off the last two frets. Board member RobRR did that a couple years ago to an RR3 (put on a maple board neck from a DK2M, I believe).

You Lack vision Joe, all he needs is a dremel, some chicken wire & the will of the Foce why you gotta bring "em down? :ROTF:

hey people, some of you may remember my thread about what RR is this.

we decided it was an early rx10d, but check this out... i was gonna offer the OP my neck since i never play the damn thing and as i took it off i noticed no markings in the neck pocket, not markings on the heel and the neck pocket seemed smaller than my neck pocket of my stealth:think: what do you guys think? fake? also it has a non stamped jt500 instead of the jt580lp like most of em......sorry to jump in your thread like this, but its kinda relevant to the situation.....

It would be a miracle! I played it yesterday... it's nice, but I just am not really into Vs any more. I think I'll hold onto my one RR1T, though.

If its an Indian made guitar then its possible that it has no markings and the smaller neck heel and the cheap trem.

I took it that he was more trying to correct the misconception that Warmoth is a "draw it on a napkin and we can build it" custom shop, since, well, they aren't, and heel specifications are just ONE of many many things that Warmoth's (sometimes annoying and infuriating) policies and options won't allow you to buy.

Apparently it actually is a "T" (albeit the most screwed up lookin "T" i've ever seen!)

Apparently the distance between the 2 dots at the 12th fret is the clue, i think (don't quote me on this) if they are far apart then yours is the Jap model. Having said that though, i didn't think the Performers were made in Japan..........though i could be wrong
