pickup infromation

Hi I'm pretty new here on this kick ass forum. But any who.

I have a jackson professonal dinky pickupp.

The type number is J80B.

The question is the pickupp based on the Seymour duncan JB pickupp

Don't think so. The J is for Jackson and the B is for bridge.

You can find most of the specs for Jackson pickups in here:

You can get some idea of what they're like in terms of output and frequency curve by comparing the specs to something you're familiar with, but in my experience the ones I've played don't seem to be based on or sound too much like any specific Duncan, DiMarzio, etc. And like Rich said, you'll see that "J" & "B" are very common in their model names.

Closest thing spec wise in the SD catalog would be a Custom 5.
