What kind of pickups? If they're Jackson pickups, they're not active.

Sounds like a Fusion Pro with a JE-1500 active mid sweep.
The body is Basswood, not Alder.

How much is this guitar worth today? Just wondering, and what does that active mid circuit do?

And really, what is cool about being from Iceland?
