OH MY FUCKING GOD!!! THIS GUITAR LOOKS AWESOME!!!

Black is done, color sanded, logo on, and ready for clear. Even without the clear and the black dull from sanding it looks amazing!! Well, to me at least... While pulling the tape I was shaking I got so excited. Pics are updated while I'm waiting for the rain to go away to clear it...

Just a quick update. The clear is on. Need to sand some orange peel, put on another coat or 2 then leave to cure for a month. Got everything for it ready to build. Duncan distortion, duckbucker, little '59, rotary 5 way switch, push pull volume, switchcraft jack... Waiting is killing me!!! Dying to play it..

Maybe I missed it but what are you using for your finishes laquer or urethane?

Lawrence Mcfadden vinyl sealer, spraying nitro lacquer, and colortone black pigment mixed in for the black.

Woohoo!! Paint is finally done. Got some very fine overspray but that'll be gone with the wet sanding and should look great. Gonna ignore it for a month now to completely cure. Then the wet sanding and buffing.

Well, just about. Need to fit the back covers better and intonate a bit more but the guitar is built and playing. Quite simply, it is the best playing and sounding guitar I've ever had or played. It's made for my hands and ears. I put the finished pics right on the first page of the album. Take a look. Don't critique yet as I'll be posting again later with all the issues and flaws i wound up with but all in all, I LOVE IT!!!
