Good deal at the local GC

I was in Guitar Center yesterday and they have a used SL-1 in EDS for $899.00. Naturally, it was hanging up high out of reach and I didn't ask to get it down, since I'm not in the market at the moment. It looked gorgeous, though.

That's not such a great deal unless it's a very recent guitar. Most Soloists on eBay rarely seem to crack $800 these days unless they are only a year or two old.

And, of course, the fine folks at GC will try to charge you extra for a case... [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Relatively speaking, it's a good deal for Guitar Center. The last used SL-1 they had was stickered at $1099.00.
