That looks really good, great job! I wonder how the pro's paint the rivets?

its very easy, some jacksons have used decals for better detail, thats why im doing that, airbrushing is relitively easy but not as detailed and hell, there's like eighty rivets on her

I really like it. Agreed that the matching headstock would look sweet. Put the logo in black, I think it'll stand out good. Great work!

wow, even if it is a decal, that's still stunning work.

you could do something on the back like a strafe of bullet-holes on the back
that you could see thru to some WW2 battle scene?

you might like to see my jackson project:

after trying to sand down the back, and having great difficulty as seen in this link: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1070523&h...

this is the link to my original project. there's a link in my sig that says "Project 2"
              thats my new one

edit: LOVE the cat. is it a sweetie or a silly kitty?

First time I've ever seen a fret board used as a pillow.

Now you really need a DK2 neck (or DK1 if you can find one) for that. Do it!

OP, do you have any photos of how you applied the decals?
you should take video as well. if you have a camcorder

cleared already , buffing tomorrow. i put the decals on and airbrushed over them to age them, with the clear on it looks very dimensional now. should have pics on monday. btw, that cat sleeps on anything.

pardon my ignorance but what's so special about the dk2 or dk1 necks?

                              Bound necks look better.

                                Edit.
I finally figured out where my lost post went.
                                It's a long story.
                                OK, here it is:
Clicked on a youtube by Sully, went back to browsing, ended up here, and posted "Outstanding work, Sully".
                                Yarf, Merry Christmas and stuff.
