What Jackson is like a Charvel 475?

    What Jackson is like a Charvel 475?

    Hey All-

    Been looking for a mint Charvel 475 for awhile, with no luck. Is there a Jackson equivalent from that time frame that has same Floyd, bound neck, etc?

    Most any Dinky from that era would fit the bill wouldn't it? Look through the catalogs at www.audiozone.dk.

        Hey Rich-

        Thanks for the info...actually e-mailed Music Go Round last week about that one and the one on eBay is a little banged up.

        A Guitar Center in OH or PA has one as well, and I have e-mailed them.

              Called Music Go Round in Wisconsin and a Guitar Center in California.

              The Music Go Round has the one without the locking nut and a couple of dings...after getting more pics/info, I e-mailed the guy back and low-balled him, still waiting to hear back.

              The Guitar Center one out in CA has since been dropped on its headstock and cracked the neck. Game over on that one.

              The fun is in the search, I guess, right??

                      Oops, for some reason I thought you said the pro series soloist. The DK1 would be perfect. Unless you are REALLY set on the HSS.

                        A Dual bucker would be cool, too...

                        Just like the 475 because of the Schaller and bound neck.

                        So a DK1 will work?

                          I had a metallic black 475 back about '93-ish. It was a great guitar.

                          I think a DK1 is a good step up from a 475, unless you really want the non-recessed tremolo and prefer 22 frets.
