Look at title. Guys got one on CL in basically a fire sale with a Epi SG and 3 pedals for $200. Seems even a beater would be ok for that price.

Stealth EXs are very common, but good guitars if you want something smaller than a Dinky. The stock pickups are pretty poor, but at that price, you can upgrade them and still get a killer deal. I bought some of the "Hex" humbuckers at Guitarfetish.Com for $25/pair for my TH-2 Stealth and it was a massive improvement over stock.

Roger, well it would have been a risk. In my experience, with buying and selling guitars, when a person tells you they have two junked out guitars it's probably more likely that they are junk than they are good and just need minor repairs. When I have to make an on the spot analysis I look at the condition of the body, if they have taken care of a guitar and there aren't horrible dings on it and/or when they bring it to you they don't toss it around like an old sock I tend to think the electrical problems are simple (i.e. cheap).Last edited by kc7txm; 12-17-2009, 11:40 AM.Help build a Jackson serial number database by submitting your serial number to: http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101351
