Re: Where is Grover Jackson now?

I made a topic for quotes from "The Simpsons". I think we had one on the old board but never had one here before!

Hey "Accept2" - What you wrote was very funny, but in an extremely "unfunny" and sad way, it could be true....Ed Roman also told me that he was in business with Grover and would be producing a new line of guitars (that was 4 years ago). I have to go to LV often and always try to stop by Roman's to see what is there (guitar porn). I will never forget Ed pontificating about all the "forged" charvels, and how shamefull it was....and then I asked him, how come he was selling "neck plates" to old charvel (both US and Ft.Worth) and Jackson guitars! And he acted like he didn't hear me and them became very rude....I remember that as soon as my 10year old daughter and I left the store, my daughter told me that she did not like that man and though that he must be an issel (that was her way of saying "asshole" - to which - unfortunately, I had to agree!

I would love to know where Grover Jackson is and what he is doing. Just as I have sought out Wayne Charvel....They both were responsible for changing the "electric guitar business" and truly gave all the "giants (fender - gibson, etc.) a serious run for their money !!!!

I also think is sad that so many insecure individuals continue to try to "use" those two individuals and their names....very sad....moral....Never, but Never sell your name with the company!
