thers a guy on ebay selling 2009 san dimas floyds ,i have heard these are almost a ofr?. also are they logo'ed charvel or floyd (cant tell in his picture) should say floyd rose right, it should fit in tightly in a recessed jt-500 mounting or will it hit the back of the recess, i dont do many pullups. do they have the older ofr string lock screws or the shorter 500/590 screws?(once again, cant tell by picks) just looking for a cheaper alternative to an ofr, sorry for all the questions.

Don't know about the comparison to the JT-500, but:

The trem on a San Dimas has the long screws, exactly the same length as an ofr, so it will overhang the recess if you use it to replace a JT-500. You will also need to replace the 37mm sustain block with a 32mm block, because you'll be taking it from a non-recessed to a recessed application, so factor that cost in if you bid.
