The Japanese factory stopped production of MIJ Charvels in June of 2008 or so. Some stores still have new Model B's (2 hum, 3 way switch and coil split switch) and Model D's (S-S-H, traditional trem) in stock. Model C's are fewer and far between. However, they do pop up on Yahoo! Auction from time to time.

Here's an updated couch shot. I sold two of the three MIJ soloists, the DK2M and the Charvel Model C, and bought two USA soloists within the past year and a half .
The white guitar on the right is a parts mutt (1987 USA Neck + Model 2 body).Until you get weaned off the boobie, you are going to have to do what the wife wants too. -RsmackerComment
