its the total package -not just the individual components.
Its not just the wood, neck , fretboard, electronics, vibe, tone etc
its the total package
If I took Jackson and removed the logo from the headstock, would it still sound and play the same? Of course it would. If I made a guitar from scratch to the exact same specs as Jackson could it play and sound the same as the Jackson? Yes, of course it could.
Listen, I love Jacksons and Charvels, have owned many over the years (including original San Dimas Charvels and Jackons) but at their core, they are the same as any other guitar - they are just wire and wood.
The only thing that makes a Jackson guitar a Jackson guitar is the name on the headstock. There's no magic that makes a Jackson special. It's purely psychological and while I agree that the logo on the headstock does make me look at a guitar differently, I acknowledge that fact.
Nothing but the name/logo, and the ONLY classy/sassy v in town, Yeah the Randy Rhoads models, the only Jackson/guitar I care about. Nothing is more cooler / Retro / modern, all in one pleasing gulp of happiness!
