So I've just about sold the DK2M and I have two prospects for a new guitar. My decision is down to SLS3 vs USA Charvel promod.

Do you guys think I'll be disappointed with an import Jackson over a USA made Charvel, or are they on a closer level than I think? I've played the SLSMG and a used Charvel promod at my local guitar stores and enjoyed them both so this is really tough.

Would the Jackson have the versatility that the charvel would? I'm thinking about some different styles too.

Maybe I should have just PM'd Newc considering he's played and enjoyed both!

They're both around the same price, right? I'm thinking this comes down to style more than anything else.

Myself - I wouldn't buy the SLS-whatever at any price point, because that type of guitar is just not my thing.
