Upside down Inlays

I was wondering the other day if anyone has seen or had a custom guitar done with upside down sharkfin inlays? I mocked one up and I think it looks pretty cool. Pickups would probably be a good idea huh? A noskcaJ logo would probably make this a really cool guitar.

there have been plenty with those inlays. You can actually find them in four different layouts, five if you include zig-zag

If I ever can afford another custom, I am going to get the zig zag ones. They are pretty cool.

yeah, the inlays look pretty cool.
suits V shaped guitars the best IMO.


but don't forget to add a pickup to your guitar before you place the order.



edit: oh, yours are different I see. now I had a closer look;
no, I did not see these before on a custom.
but I like roopes better. it somehow enhances the angle of body and headstock...

Really? I sure like to see one a picture of a guitar with either upside down or upside down reverse.

Yeah, Sergio's guitar is just like your mockup, but with regular headstock and white bevels. For some reason pics don't show up for me, but I clearly remember it. Send him a message to show a pic of it.

Also, I think he sold one of these two recently...not sure which one though.

There's also 'flip flop' which is regular sharkfins alternating with the Cptn USA ones. So the 'angles' of the fins flip flop instead of zig-zag where the angle is the same.

The zig-zag looks a bit crazy. I'm not sure if i would like that on a guitar. I think i would if the whole concept was "crazy".

Thanks for the pics. I don't think I've seen the flip flop inlays before, I have seen the zig zags. FF looks better than the ZZ, IMO the reverse headstock and upside down reverse inlays really look good. Being that the headstock and the inlays are pointing in the same direction. It is pleasing to my eyes.
