No problem , they were breaking your chops because we get a lot of "new" members who just sign up to ask how much is worth. They only stick around for few posts to get there info and never come back . Then what usually happen is someone spots said guitar on ebay . So people get sick of answering question on what "model" and "how much" .

If you don't see a problem with it, feel free to help him out!

I dunno, reading the Fire Crackle Dinky thread and then the Ebay ad, it just kinda irked me. He is well aware (by info given here) the JT6 tremolo is hard to find parts for and that the one on that guitar is fucked, but he puts "probably an easy fix" in the Ebay ad.

So, this guy strike me as someone who's scouring Craigslist for guitars to buy cheap, get info from us, and then flip them for a profit on Ebay. Again, if you don't see a problem with that, feel free to help him out- and he says that's not what he's doing anyway. :dunno:

I couldn't agree with you more. If the guitar is overpriced it probably won't sell anyway. I really get annoyed with the internet pricing police, it's really know ones business how much he wants to try and sell a guitar for. I bet most of the complainers wouldn't hesitate to to flip a guitar if they found a good deal one. Guitars are the same as cars, light bulbs, or apples; they're worth what there worth. Admitedly, it's cool to see people getting some of the cooler or rarer Jacksons, who are actually going to appreciate what they have.

It says the auction ended, I don't see where it sold though. Usually it will show "ended with Buy it Now" or it will show the winning bidder.

                      hmmmmm

Ebay changed that awhile back. Now the only indicator is "Sold For" by the $ amount. Also, unless I'm overlooking, with the new way, I don't think there is a way to know the identity and/or feedback of the buyer.

Absolutely - Let's not forget Caveat Emptor. Hopefully potential buyers will wander in here for advice as they are free to do.

it will often show the number of bids too and clicking on that link will provide a coded list of the bidders and their feedback (and their activity on the seller's auctions too, IIRC)
                            Hail yesterday

Yeah, still shows that with auctions, but not with Buy It Now as far as I know.
