I think this board has a reputation of being a bit "rough" due to some folks (e.g. Bungybeng et al) coming in and not learning the lay of the land first. If you want respect you show respect. You learn who the players are and what the score is before you jump in the game. Do that and you'll get along fine.

The only place trolls belong is under of Bridge of Banned.

Matt B nailed it IMO. I was a lurker for some time before I joined so I already knew you were dicks . Seriously, I noticed that there are some very generous and experienced people on this board and yes, most have a sense of humor. I'm still amazed how generous the forum members are with their time by answering detailed set up,floyd tuning, and wiring questions. Yes, there is some ball busting but jeez, get some thicker skin.

I've had a good chuckle or two on this.

I came in here curious to what Charvell (mod. 1) 86
I had just blown the dust off of. Found the knowledge
and conversation quite interesting. Also some one pointed
out that if I hang around long, I'll be buying Jacksons/Charvells
again. Well, I frequent the local pawn shops for San Dimas and
Ontario mades....No luck yet but looking..........

Oh yea, my Charvie ain't for sale, was just curious what I had.
It was my back-up guitar and I've kept it all these years for some
reason. After my brief introduction I had gotten some very knowledge-
able replies from RacerX and GrandTurk and others. TYVM
I'll believe I'll hang around a while if it's aw'rite witchall....
Now lessee how bad I get slapped around for my spelling....
