About Hamer... they don't seem too interested in making shredder-type guitars any more. They're more into the 22-fret, old-school/vintage look, which is fine, but they are a classy operation and only make about 13 or so guitars a week all by hand. If they could make Dave a 24-fret V similar to their Vector models (which would be similar to a Y2KV), I'd personally love to own one, but I'm sure the price would skyrocket and Hamer definitely wouldn't be able to knock them out as fast.
