Worth it. I like the Invader, but I've never tried it in an alder guitar. In basswood and ash, I think it sounds great. I just spent several hundred on a paint job for one of my DK2Ms, and I'm leaving everything else stock, so I guess that probably makes my opinion pretty clear.

I personally consider the DK2M one of Jackson's best "new" models in a long time. I have two, and wouldn't mind replacing one of my other guitars with another DK2M to mod someday.

Best $265 I've spent! I love my DK2M. I've upgraded the bridge pup to a X2N and the neck pup to a GFS crusader bridge pup. Not totally happy with the neck pup decision but I needed something to match the insane output of the X2N.

Bon Jovi is like a frozen Coca Cola.. It's cool, it's crunchy, but when all is said and done it is still pop....

Fair enough... In an inherently bright guitar it could sound pretty fucking mean, it's definitely got the output. I tried it in Mahogany. It sounded like it was underwater.

because they're one of THE best pickups you can own.. a touch pricey in the states, but over here, well worth it
