RR3 neck bindings? help?

i'm looking at a RR3 but it appears it does not have a neck binding - from pics. Jacksons website states the RR3 as having a neck and HS binding. whats up? some do and some dont? or its been swapped out?
i know the binding could be black right? but it just doesnt have the right look even for black...
heck the jackson website pics dont appear to be of a guitar w neck/HS binding!
he wants to trade my indonesian ltd neckthru w emg's for his mij RR3 w SD's. seems like a no brainer i know but i really like my ltd...

RR3s don't have binding. Jackson's been known for having wrong specs on its website.

Yeah, they keep messing specs up, and they never correct them. The "binding error" on the RR3 and KE3 have been in for four years, and there are other errors that have carried over since way back.

i thought i saw someone in here showing a pic of and finding out indeed that the 2010 rr3's had bindings, i think it was a sales add. ulness they were wrong, i dunno. edit , oops thats an rr5, i just rembered they got em now.
