Does anyboy here have a KV2 made with a Mahogany body and a Mahogany neck?

Or even a Mahogany body and a Maple neck ... Please talk to me a lil about the feel and the sound you're getting.

And which one do you like the best? The traditional Alder / Maple or this?

THe mahagony will give a more even tone that to my ears. Alder/maple gives the guitar a lot of "growl" and influences the tone greatly. With my alder guitars I prefer EMGs as they resist the wood's tone more than passives, which delivers a more neutral tone. On my Korina/Mahagony guitars I like passives or EMG's.

On a side note, I find your user name and avatar choice extremely distasteful.
