ive had this for a while......but want to know more about it.....
the id on the back reads 004978 ontario canada
can a jackson guru give me some info...
and is a pre fender jackson better? are they more valuable? thanks Pete

Your guitar was made in 2000 and it was built in Ontario, CALIFORNIA, not Canada.
The little "MADE IN THE U.S.A." thing on the headstock and neck plate should have been a clue.

And the whole pre-Fender vs. Fender thing is pure marketing BS.
The guitars are still being built by the same people.

Absolutely. If anything, I think Jacksons have gotten better since the Fender buyout.
