• Shreaders????

Listening to: Greg Howe, Vinnie Moore, Tony Macalpine, Dave Uhrich, Joey Taffola, Darren Householder, Yngwie, Bla, Bla, Bla, on and on.
I love the shreader instramental type music. The old shrapnel label stuff.
Who are the new, not so well known shreaders of today? I'm getting tired of listening to the same stuff over and over. I want to Expand my Guitar God list.
Thanks.

P.S. Going on 3 months of waiting for my new SL2H

There's a shredder over here in England that hardly any one has heard of. He's called Neil Brocklebank. I think this is his website www.neilbrocklebank.co.uk

I saw him a few years ago at the NEC, friendly guy.

I swear "jigsaw man" was recorded thru a Rockman.

There's some cool stuff..shredding takes a high degree of intensity, and after some time.... unless there is something really unique thrown in to break it up or grab your attention, to me it gets a little old. Granted.. it does take a much higher degree of technical skill.. it's nice he has some more melodic/slower stuff as well.

I notice he prefers what looks like Ibanez USA customs

Don't forget about Alix Skolnick ^.^ He used to play for Testament in the old days. You can figure out what albums he plays on in the discography page.

Very good stuff He plays jazz now, but he still rips!

Chris is great but Jag Panzer is such middle of the road, by the numbers metal. They bore me half to death. And it's not like I didnt try, I've seen them live twice!

Oh, Joey Tafolla was JP's lead guitar player before Chris, you guys should check him out too. He has albums out on Shrapnel.

And if we are gonna talk Testament lets please mention the mighty James Murphy. The man's two solo albums and his Discarnate project destroy!
