  • Need help regarding Serial number

I'm a newbie here. Please help me find the specs for my Charvel with serial number: 293624 Fort Worth TX76113. I also want to know when and where it was made. Thanks.

    here's the actual pic.

I'm not up on the different Model series, and Henrik's site is down, but these were made at the Charvel factory in Japan between 1986 - 1988. I think this is a 1987 Model 3.

That extra switch isn't original - something to mention in the ebay ad

So, San Dimas, Redlands, I know about... but what is the significance of Fort Worth, especially on a Japanese axe?

What do you know about Redlands?

Re: 2nd question: nothing, it was just the location of the parent company's HQ back then. All - or at least the vast majority - Ft Worth plated Charvels were made in Japan.

Original from who you bought it from, but not original from the factory. All Model 3s from 1987 and 1988 had the Jackson JT-6 tremolo.

Tekky is right the trem is not original.A JT-6 would have been original in 88.
