    Hi guys,

    just want to introduce myself:

I am from Germany and 33 years old. I am a great metal fan since the age of 13, US Death Metal mainly, now.
As a teenager I wanted to have a Jackson, because 1. Megadeth played it, and 2. the headstock looked damn cool! :-)
I bought a used Kelly Performer on ebay than, which I still own today. For being a low budget instrument it sounds great, and I dont have to handle it with care. :-)
Later I bought a Gibson LP, but 2 days ago I bought want I always wanted to have: A Randy Rhoads. I choose the RR5, ivory white. Sounds great, looks great and dont have a tremolo, which I dont use anyway.
Ok, thats all for now. Pics will follow...

        Welcome.

Is it true that David Hasselhoff albums outsell the Scorpions?

Why do the americans always talk about David Hasselhoff if somebody is from Germany? I dont know anything about this guy! :-)
But I cant think about that. Hasselhoff has a short time of success during the 80s, the Scorpions are the most successfull german metal band.
I got nothing of both of them. :-)

Thanks everyone, ok, any new day I feel certain, that I have done right, to buy the RR5. What a feeling on the fretboard. Very smooth which is pretty important for my liking.
Unfortunately I dont know how to post pics... :-/

                Welcome to the forum!!

I see you have one of my all time favorite albums as your avatar! That album heavily influenced me in many ways growing up. I play Jackson's through Crate Amps w/ D'Addario EXL120 strings.

Me too. I saw the "Symphony of Destruction" video on MTV first and it blew me away. Up to this I just heard to the musik my father liked, like Rolling Stones, CCR,...
1991/92 were awesome years for music: Black Album, Appetite for Destruction, Countdown to Extinction...
