  • All new body shape?

When was the last time Jackson or charvel introduced an all new body shape and not a modified body (Pablo extreme shape)? Is there any chance they'll ever introduce a brand new guitar?

I believe the Mark Morton was the last new shape. Before that I thought the roswell rhoads was cool.

I doubt they'd ever revive the Demon, although I'd be happy with it

I really like the Pablo cut soloist. Now I think that one would be a good choice.

I also think the Morton was the last fully new shape.

Those are really nice, I held one when the guys from Jackson came down to Chuck Levin's in Wheaton, MD last year. It was the white one with green sparkle stripe around the carved body. It was a NAMM piece. The upper fret access on those are insane, your whole hand fits comfortably into the heel giving your fingers easy access in those upper registers.

Careful what you wish for: look at the confusing mess of different shaped BC Riches over the years.
