<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I don't completely agree with that. The same item can sell for two very different prices. I have relisted guitars a week after one auction and have had them sell for sometimes less sometimes more. eBay is unpredictable.

true...but that's the risk you take with ebay...usually if you find 3 or more of the same item and average them out, you get a pretty good ballpark figure...better than looking at some dweeb who has a 3000 buy it now and thinking your guitar should be worth just as much...d.m.

I'm a guitar player first and foremost, and I see nothing wrong with wanting to know what the value and demand of the guitar or guitars you own is, especially if the guitar you have has been discontinued and will never be made again, in this case it's cool to know that your guitar is special, and not just a run of the mill, dime a dozen guitar.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I think the issue is that when you post about it multiple times it can get a tad annoying,especially if you conclude each time that you would never sell it.If that's the case then there is no reason for multiple posts.

Yeah but it gets worse. After these 5 leave in like a week or two they all come and so does my oldest brother's kids. So that will be 7 kids in all. Can I come live with someone? I know mine isnt the only GMG one cuz someone posted pictures on here of their tour of the Jackson shop I think I saw like 5 of them. These kids are like animals.
They eat and eat and never get tired. Ill just hide in my room and dream of all the Jacksons I want to buy.

actually you're just dealing with the fallout of people comong here, hyping a guitar as "the greatest thing ever, and then either putting it on ebay or trying to sell it here for a ridiculous price...seems the bigger the community gets, he more people seem to want to come here and try to "cash in" on the knowledge of the members...d.m.

I was just asking if they've like skyrocketed in value since Ive seen them put at some pretty high prices. I mean if others were selling for that,which I doubt they did, Id sell mine to make some of what others were going for. I just asked because most of the people here have forgotten more about guitars than I'll ever know.

Glad to hear that you are enjoying your Y2KV. I am also a proud owner of Y2KV. and mine is in Red Ghost Flames. I ALMOST made the mistake to sell my Y2kv AND my Korina KV2 a few months back. Fortunately, I came to my senses. THESE are awesome guitars, and they are MEANT to be played, everyday and everynight.Like you, I worked VERY hard to own one and it makes all the more worthwhile. I can also see why you would ask a lot of questions about it, I was also the same. Anyway, like Newc said, if you like to get the value of your guitar, try Ebay or even Yahoo Auction. If you want to get serious $$, try the Japanese Yahoo auction.Jackson guitars have really high value here in Japan. For example, a Y2KV with the ugliest finish that I have ever seen(Blue candy like flames--totally gay) sold for 248,000 yen...or $2000 US. But I really doubt you would want to sell that awesome guitar of yours. Its a killer, and it is a KEEPER!
