  • Jackson Double Rhoads

do you think they will ever make a production model, not a custom shop model?

  • #2
NO. You'll never see that as a production model.

They are way oversized for most people.

I think they should. I know many people that turn to ESP because of their bigger body V's. I wouldn't buy one, but it could make an alright idea.

*Edit: BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM 1,000th post, thank you everyone for being awesome *

Well, when Big Red was made for the JCF we were told there would not even be a Custom DR made again. There have been though. I doubt you'll see it in Production though.

I actually wish my double rhoads was maybe a little bigger. I'm 6'4", so not huge, but not small. I think they could do well.

              Who knows.

Trust me, a Jackson DR is WAY BETTER than any ESPee V series, trust me.

I don't remember being told that. What we had was a 1 year exclusivity rights, but that went out the window when we resurrected the JCF YCE series. I remember being very nervous (and a little pissed off) when the 25th anniversary KV (which was a Double Rhoads) went into production and we were told that they hadn't decided on a color yet.

Wouldn't pick up a DV8 if you paid me. Suffice to say that you should be over 6 feet tall for a Double Rhoads.
