Look in the neck pocket and on the heel. Might give the model and DOB. I don't know if all MIJ Jacksons have it, but the ones I have do.

Yep, that makes a lot more sense now. You have a Jackson DRX made September 20, of what year I can't tell. My guess would be '99, but I have been known to be wrong. RacerX can decipher this VERY well. Anything on the heel of the neck? Some have the model also on them, but this can be tricky, as necks from different bins can and do go on others. I have a KVX10 with a WRXT neck.

                  That's what I thought. My DR3 is 2H.

OK, here's my take: The "body only" features - H-S-H, Trans Violet color, and hardware setup - match a 1996 DX2:

However, it's clearly stamped DRX in the neck pocket; I know the DR-X was a non-USA market MIJ Dinky, but I don't have specs on it. IIRC a couple European JCFers own a DR-X. Pretty sure it was reverse headstock with reverse sharkies, so I'll say you have a 1996 DR-X.
