Ok, i am growing more and more fond of Charvels and i am trying to learn about them, but i admit i am completely lost trying to get an overall picture of the brand. I know there is San Dimas style and So-Cal style and there are model numbers, series and batches, and have no idea what they are all about. The website isn't helping much either as it only lists current models, and i know there is much more than this going on. Then there are details like where each model is made, necks, headstock options etc which i know nothing about.
If anyone can provide a Charvel 101 outline or a brief history of the various models i would be much grateful!
