  • Pretty badass custom shop guitar

I asked the poster to come join our forums.

I was hot for this until I found out it is a reverse headstock. If I'm going to swap one of my LP's for a Soloist, it had better be my dream guitar.

that is pretty sweet. why the hate for the reverse head? just curious...

He was trying to sell that on the cdn ebay for what seemed like ages. Priced way too high if I recall correctly...

Is the trem route for a Schaller JT-590? Looks like a Floyd Rose replaces the original and the long screws are sticking out beyond the route...

They don't turn me on. I have a Kelly Star and love the neck, don't love the headstock. I don't know. I much prefer reverse sharkies over normals as well.

Thanks for pointing that out Joe. At first I thought it was a non-recessed with a shadow. I didn't realize that was a route. I'm guessing JT-590 too because that was fairly normal for that timeframe, but close to the OFR switch.

              I have a 1992 RR1 with a JT-590 and a 1995 RR1 with an OFR.

No, I just grabbed a few pictures using your link as a jumping point. The guy is pictured with a lot of nice guitars, including more cool Jackson's.

This would make sence about the route for the JT-590. I went through the serial #'s on the Jackson site and it showed up as a `91 custom shop not a `94 like he said. But a really beautiful guitar just the same!
This is why I am giving up one of my Les Pauls' for it!

Good for you. Tell us how you like it.

And what LP are you giving up for it? I don't have any low end LP's, and I'm too far away to swap in person.
