Is $1500 a fair price for a KE1?

Hey guys. I have a chance to buy a trans black KE-1 w/ case for $1450.00 (9/10 condition) + tax and shipping, which brings it to about $1500. Does this seem like a fair price? I've been GASing for a KE-1 for YEARS, but I feel like it may be a little overpriced. I told the seller I'd buy it for $1300 but he's not budging on the price. Do you think $1500 is fair or would I be getting screwed?

Money is a bit tight, so I'd probably have to sell my USA Soloist on ebay. Do you think I'd be able to get the $1500 for it?

Given current prices, $1500 is a bit high for a KE1 but not totally out of line. They are nice axes and arent all that common. However, youd be lucky to get anything over $1000 for your soloist. Now is a great time to be a guitar buyer, because you can score USA Select Jacksons in the $1000 range all day long... not so good for the sellers though.
