P.S.- Would love to see a close-up of the work order specs. I'm curious about the red mark-ups?
Wow, I always assumed the headstock and pinstripes were black....guess I never saw a color photo of the original before! Incredible piece of Jackson history!

A side comment/question: I noticed the serial was 76xx, likely meaning J76xx. Has Jackson decided what they are going to do after they reach the J9999 mark? My guesses are a 5-number sequence, as in J00001, or move on to the next letter H and keep the 4 digit number, H0001. Thoughts?

Only 60 of these are being built for the whole world and I believe only 25 or 30 of those are for the US. I asked about the serial number (it's not J760, it's just 760) and was told the numbers are all completely random. I assume this was done to prevent a higher value being placed on low serial numbers, this way they're all equally as valuable.

Nothing says protection like (caustic adhesive + varying temperatures / time).

More. IIRC, randy was born in 1956. the pricing is something like 19,567. Don't quote me on that. I assume this doesn't infringe on the "no posting prices" rule as it was advertised. If it does you can remove this comment or PM me and i'll edit it.

Man...Randy was my hero 25 years ago....he's the one that made me pick up a guitar...And his Jackson V is certainly iconic...AND YET...no matter how much I idolize the guy, this is just another guitar that looks beat up and costs a SHIT LOAD of money. I get it...what's his name...the guy in the pics who does these imitations...painstakingly did everything to recreate the actual original...all the scratches, nicks, etc...just like the Frankenstein guitar 2 years ago.

Call me crazy...but I just dig my guitars when they're new and polished. Sure..this would be a great conversation guitar....and I'm sure it sounds and plays killer....but I wouldn't drop that kind of cash on that..no way...I could get 5 REALLY nice USA made Jacksons/Gibbies/Strats, etc for that kind of dough. And not a one of them would be 'reliced' or 'VOS' or whatever you want to call it

So... as previously discussed here, the serial numbers on these guitars are completely random. The one pictured in this thread was # 760 but we just received our second (and last) Concorde and it's got THE coolest serial number ever! I just about crapped my pants when I saw the number "666" on the outside of the box! I just had to open it up and see if that was the actual serial number of the guitar, and sure enough... it's number "666".

I may have to keep this one for myself. I mean, does it get better than this?
