How come the model 3DR isnt in the 88 catalog? Also, where did the guitar gallery go after the upgrade? Im sure thats been covered already, but Im out of the loop.

The 3DR wasn't offered until late into the Model run...not until well into 1989, IIRC. I think of it as a bridge to the toothpaste logos, since it's one of the few (if not only) small logo'd bolt-on with a dinky shape.

The 3DR and the Model 7 appeared in a supplemental brochure. Henrik has them in the 1989 section on his site:
