  • Need advice for choosing a jackson

    Hi
I'm a looking for a particular Jackson and would like to know if the model i'm searching exist in production without ordering at the Jackson CS :

I would like a Jackson Fusion neck ( ebony board and 24"75 scale), set in, with string-thru (no trem), flamed archtop.

    Does this exist please ?

I've been interrested on the Jackson Archtop pro early japanese models but it seems that ne neck is a bit biger (someone can confirm ?)

Can someone help me to find this please ?

    thank you

AFAIK, no production version of what you're looking for.

The Jackson Soloist Archtop is exactly what you describe ! Short-scale, set neck, string-through !

The neck is a bit thicker in comparison to the Fusion Pro neck, because the set neck / neck through construction simply demands more wood, I guess !?

Those pics look really familiar. I think someone on JCF owns it. He has a ferrari red RR too IIRC. I think he was selling it here? Dunno for sure.

Wouldn't a USA SLS fit the bill also?

No, the USA SLS is short scale.

Yes, I am sure, I have one. It's not string through, though, but it's still a fixed bridge (so, no trem). The top is not flat like a soloist, but it also doesn't appear to be as arched as on the archtops.
