Need quick advice on GMW order

Ok, sent check for GMW today. Gonna get a Hotrod Flames. I've tentatively decided on a Black Floyd. Don't use trems a ton, but like a hand gun on your person, better to have and not need than need and not have. However, I can fork over $100 extra for the vintage brass trem for more authenticity. What would you guys do? also, why do you think they charge more for the Vtrem? they can't cost more to produce, brass is cheaper than steel and fewer parts to engineer? Anyway, need to know fast as I'm letting Lee know today.

Authenticity, schmicity. If you're going to use the trem at all, I'd suggest the Floyd for tuning stability. Go with what you prefer, though. That's all that really matters.

However, I'd suggest chrome hardware with that graphic. A better match, IMHO.

My personal preference is the v trem or hardtail since I'm not a Floyd guy.

The v-trem is probably more because it is NOS.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I realize this isn't the subject but why does everyone think brass is so cheap? It's twice as much as a low carbon steel and even a good quality steel like a 4140 alloy is still cheaper than brass. [img]graemlins/rant.gif[/img]

I 2nd Metalcop, that would look KILLER, I know it looks good on a bengal so it has to look good on a HRF.

I would go with the V-Trem as well.
On a strathead HRF? No brainer.
